Trouble with new BE550

Yup, similar issue with my BE550. Smart Connect isn't as smart as it should be! :D When I previously had Smart Connect enabled, my Pixel 9 when at long distance, would not drop down from 6GHz or 5Ghz to 2.4GHz automatically. Tether app would indicate that my Pixel 9 had a weak signal on 6Ghz or 5GHz

ASUS RT-BE92U 1 Year On

Not a long term review, but I replaced a TP BE550 with the RT-BE92U two weeks ago. I installed Merlin right away because I had a good experience with it on AX86U. Reyee/Ruijie router - does anyone know how to set it up for PIA?

Thank you. I have several TP-Link travel routers that are great, so I was giddy to try the Archer BE550.I'm ending up with half the speed of the Rayee E5, and it disconnects me too often.

MLO and compatibility

I had nothing but issues with MLO on my BE550 Pro. I also suggest turning it off entirely as there is not much real world benefit to client devices at the moment.

New router up and running

When I was researching WiFi 7, I came across many people returning the TP link BE550. It's was the cheapest WiFi 7 routers going at the time but it seemed to be unreliable. Hopefully you won't have the same issues.

2.4G bandwidth connection not working correctly

bro that's a weird one. two different routers doing the same thing? yeah that points to something else going on the firmware thing - there's actually a known issue with the BE550 Pro and recent firmware updates killing 2.4ghz stability . people are reporting exactly what you're seeing - 2.4ghz drops
