To be honest the best for reliability independent of your area would be a good Wifi6E router/AP as these can use the 6Ghz band to avoid interference from other networks. Strange, over the ~2.5 years I've been with Hyperoptic I've used a now out of support Netgear Nighthawk R7800, then a TP-Link AXE75 and never had issues. Really really overwhelmed. Just want a router for my first floor apartment.
TP-Link AXE5400 Tri-Band WiFi 6E Router (Archer AXE75) Not too expensive, but I find TP-Link to not be too bad for consumer level gear.

Need proof before ending things.
I wound up getting a tp link Archer Axe75 router with the tether app and swapped out our main router to get proof. It can be set up to track individual device usage even in incognito. It won’t show the exact videos being viewed but it’ll show what domain names and apps have been visited and for how

Help - IT illiterate new build internet problems
Yeah I bought a tp link axe75 router from Currys and they price matched Amazon so even better! Fixed everything immediately, so it was just the crappy isp router. Also bought a tp extender that uses the electricity currents to resolve the slow internet in my gfs office. Neither of us has had issues

Got my TP-Link Archer AXE75/AXE5400 today. Night and day difference. So clear and smooth. ICS is not applicable to me, I do not require an internet connection on my headset. PC has it and it's enough. Thank you though!

I got the TP-Link Archer AXE75 off Ebay for $50. I originally got it for my Quest 3 before I upgraded to the GXR, but it works perfectly for me for the GXR
