Consumer grade gear is never recommended for a reliable, "set it and forget it" network. As u/heretosayathing mentioned, a consumer-grade access point isn't going to be able to reliably handle networking in a business environment. My SL system is a month or so old. I used my own non SL router simply plugged into the new power block. The router that came with the SL is not used because it’s junky. My Archer AX73 can broadcast the distance while the SL provided one cannot.

We ended up with the tp-link archer ax73 5400 aiming for a decent wifi 6 router. Wifi 7 was a waste of time for us since we only have one device capable of using it and it's multiple walls away. We've got 500/50 exetel fttp, 2 people, gaming and streaming as well in a 2 storey small house footprint.
