Budget friendly no-regret grinder
Given your criteria, any "no-regret" grinder capable of (dialing in) espresso does not come below 10K beyond which one can get the Timemore C5 ESP, Pro, MHW Bomber R3, Kingrinder K6 (all manual), and Timemore Whirly 01S (electric). This is as budget friendly as it can get in India and the need for "

New grinder, Diamond A, posted on IG.
That’s a ridiculous and inaccurate thing to say. This 1ZPRESSO manual grinder is $389. Tons of options that are better for ~$400 or less. Femobook uses 1ZPRESSO burrs and the A2 is $99 and will do espresso and the A4 is $279 and uses the same burr as the 1ZPRESSO J Ultra, their best espresso burr. T

Best portable electric grinder
Been leveraging a whirly 01S from Timemore. A little pricey but it makes a well rounded cup of coffee and is a lot smaller on my counter. I recharge every now and then…I really haven’t lost a charge with it ever with that strategy.

1zpresso X ultra or Timemore C5 pro esp? [~$100-$150]
It's one of those things that will be personal preference. Both C5 ESP and S3 ESP are listed as having 0.015 mm adjustments per click. So they will be able to dial in similarly to find your ideal grind settings for espresso shots. They do use different burr sets. The C5 ESP uses the S2C-042-III. The

Should I get an Oxo Rapid Brewer? [No budget]
If not just doing "soup", the grind for the ORB is nearly as fine as espresso. So, I'd suggest going for an espresso capable hand grinder so that if you can dive into a more traditional espresso machine later, you'll already have what you need. You can probably find plenty of discussions for budget

I love my Timemore Whirly 01S - looks sleak in the kitchen and it's portable, so I always take it with me when I travel

Station. Drill necessary.
If you want to stay on the economy side, I've jumped from the Chestnut C3ESP Pro to the Whirly 01S. Figured that since it's almost the same burr system, I won't have much trouble adjusting. Works great so far, freed my hands while the coffee is getting ground to prepare the portafilter, the cup and

Coffee Grinder and Portafilter suggestions for my Delonghi
I spent 2 weeks doing this and this is what I landed with. Kingrinder k6 (12k ish - various websites ) Pro - best hand grinder for “dialing in”, best in its budget , has a premium build. Grind time : 45 ish seconds Con - build is okay compared to others and has known to rust Timemore c5 and c5 esp (
