Grinder Decisions

If you're using one grinder for espresso and pour over, I'd stay away from Eureka. Their biggest weakness is the turning dial, which is small and doesn't give you an indication of how many times you've rotated it. Going back and forth between espresso and pour over/drip would be annoying and harder

Coffee grinders

I can't say I know that this grinder is better than any other but when I decided to get an electric espresso grinder, after doing some research I settled on my Timemore Sculptor 064S for the following reasons: It's relatively affordable 64mm burr which means future burr upgrade is going to be possib

need help choosting between these grinders [ 1000$]

I can't comment on the others (other than that I'd consider the reviews of the X64 SD to be much worse than "meh"), but I can say that I love my 064s (and also my 078s). I've never had problems with burrs stuck in the hopper, popcorning or clogging with either grinder. My only concern about Timemore

New to this - help me choose a machine + grinder [$1,000]

I love my Timemore 064s. It has similar burrs but better build quality and lower retention than DF64. If you are in the US, it is currently on sale at timemore.com at a 20% discount. The discount isn't explicitly mentioned on the website, but will appear when you add the grinder to your cart. It als

Help me choose a coffee grinder!! [$500 budget]

I would remove the DF64 from the list unless you find it for like $300 and want to save money. In terms of the Turin/MiiCoffee grinders, for 64mm flat burrs, the Chinese manufacturing product lineup ranking is pretty much DF64V ~= CF64V >> DF64 > GF64 So then looking at just the 64mm grinders, the c

Am I missing out?

I had the same set up, but my fellow opus was driving my crazy trying to deal with the retention (sometimes up to 1g even with RDT) smacking it around twice every morning and afternoon and then still using a spoon to make sure basket was dosed within 0.1g tolerance. I got the timemore 064s and now I

I Need a New Grinder. Help Me Out! [No Budget]

Another one to consider: Timemore 064S Does not have a large hopper, and it is not a grind by weight. But you can easily dose enough for 2-3 coffees at a time. Probably an exemplar for clean, low-retention single-dosing via dosing cup. Stock burr is an excellent all-rounder for all roast levels, and

Sculptor 64s and Bambino Plus? Or Breville Touch Impress [$1000]

I’ve had a couple Timemore 064s. Yes, it can be an excellent all-rounder. And yes it can be good enough for endgame, because you can fit many of the burrs from the well-populated (and reasonably priced) 64mm space. It probably has the most choices for the spectrum of flavor preferences+brewing metho

New single-dose grinder and bean storage recommendations AUD [$800]

Yeah, came here to recommend CF64V or Timemore Sculptor 064s. I prefer the idea of the CF64V, even though it's been whacked with an ugly-stick, because I have the big brother DF83V and love it. The 64mm burrs are an industry standard (lots of aftermarket burrs available) and the vertical orientation

Any regrets on the Niche Zero [£500/600]

I managed to get the Timemore Sculptor 064S for £440 around 6 months ago and love it, with wdt there isn't any static or retention issues.
