Help me choose a coffee grinder!! [$500 budget]
You can get the Timemore 064s for less than $500 right now. It’s a fantastic grinder with pretty solid build quality. Definitely one of the best values out there

DF54 is terrible. Recommend me something better! [$500]
I love my Timemore 064s. The rotary knocker works great, and I've never had any clogging at any roast level, from super-light to super dark and oily. RDT is not needed. If you are in the US, it's currently on sale at 20% direct from Timemore. When I bought mine from Timemore, they didn't charge stat

Niche Zero
I think the niche zero is the best at that price if you are in Europe. Unless you want flat burrs. Your other options are Eureka mignon.- several models to chose from, the Zero 65 AP is the most balanced IMO. Timemore 064S, overall good. But it gets expensive with tariffs. Lagom casa, a little bit o

I would recommend Varia VS4 or a Timemore sculptor 064s on sale.

Recommend a grinder to pair with Profitec Go please
I’m happy with my Timemore 064s. It frequently goes on sale for 20% off.

New setup
Thanks. I upgraded from a Timemore 064s to the Zerno Z1. The Profitec Go is new but not necessarily an upgrade - it's my first semi-auto. I still have my Cafelat Robot.

Why shouldn’t I buy a Niche Zero [£600]
Especially for light and medium roasts, I would consider the Lagom Casa and the Timemore Sculptors (the 064S and the 078S).

What are the good Chinese prosumer grinder and espresso machine brands?
I do appreciate this post because I feel that Chinese companies are as competent than any other "western" company if we are willing to pay the price. It is the western demand for cheap shit that ruins their reputation. In this vain, I think Timemore is a company that provides great quality - I have

Is there a less ugly equivalent to the DF64 gen 2?
Timemore sculptor 064 or 064S. Slightly more expensive but auger fed and vertically mounted and overall nicer feel. I will say though, I thought my DF54 would be super ugly but it's surprisingly not that bad looking in person.

Should I buy it? [€350].
Niche Zero is unbeatable at its price for traditional, full bodied, syrupy espresso with chocolatey flavors, brewed from medium to dark roasts. If that's the kind of espresso you like, then go for it! If you would be using the grinder for lighter roasts or for pourover, then you would be better off
