Why shouldn’t I buy a Niche Zero [£600]

Especially for light and medium roasts, I would consider the Lagom Casa and the Timemore Sculptors (the 064S and the 078S).

Should I buy it? [€350].

Niche Zero is unbeatable at its price for traditional, full bodied, syrupy espresso with chocolatey flavors, brewed from medium to dark roasts. If that's the kind of espresso you like, then go for it! If you would be using the grinder for lighter roasts or for pourover, then you would be better off

Grinder Recommendations [~$300-600]

I love my Timemore 064s. It does a great job with all brew methods at all roast levels. It will give similar output to DF64V but has better build quality.

Help selecting a grinder [up to ~$1000 AUD]

If you don’t know your taste preferences yet I would say the df64 or the timemore 064s. Different burrs will generally give you a nice thick body (texture) or a bit more acidity and flavor clarity while feeling more thin/watery (less body) to the other. Bringing out acidity can lead to great flavors

Best alternative to niche zero [budget :400€]

What would be the best alternative to the Niche Zero, considering it isn’t available in my country (France)? Niche Zero is available world-wide. The only way to purchase it is direct from the manufacturer's website. They will ship to France. However, it will be above your budget. If you are willing

Grinder Help [<= $1000]

Especially as you have some interest in lighter roasts, I might look at the Timemore 064S and 078S, if you haven't, yet (note: updated versions currently are under prototyping, as shown at a recent tradeshow (https://www.reddit.com/r/espresso/comments/1qu0how/timemore_sculptor_gen_2_rumored_features/ (s

Best Grinder for Espresso Only (All roast levels) [Sub $2000]

Timemore Sculptor - not the best for espresso only, some quality issues You may want to reconsider this. I have the 078s and I love it for all brew methods and all roast levels. It blows the doors off of my Niche Zero for light roasts, and is also great for dark. There were lots of reports of qualit

Can you recommend me a grinder

The absolute best grinder I can recommend maxing out your budget is the Timemore Sculptor 064s if you usee yourself getting an espresso machine some time down the line. It's 550€ but I'm seeing it at a slight discount online, and you could find some used options. Great adjustability, very versatile

DF64 dying, need a replacement or upgrade [1000]

I have not had a lot of time with SSP MPs. Tried pourover with SSP MPs in a Zerno and P64 at a tasting, they were...not dialed in. Have had about 30kg with the stock 064s, and I think they were competent all-rounders. Not a ton of body but decent clarity at low RPM for filter brews and nicely textur

Grinder upgrade [$750]

Assuming you're okay with a Single Dosing machine, Timemore Sculptor 064s, IMO is much more aesthetically pleasing and will be much better than Sette for drip coffee, while still being good for espresso.
