The reason (most) mice and keyboards work natively on PS5 is because mice and keyboards all have standard inputs, and Sony programmed the PS5 to recognize these standard inputs. Anything that’s additional on that peripheral won’t function as it would on a PC, such as volume control or skip/play, etc
