Got the North Face Borealis a few months ago, I like the pockets and utility of it but man does it hurt the shoulders. Not sure if it was worth it but I am stuck with it now so I will keep using it

Any particular carry style you want? Running vests are a great, lightweight option for day hike/long walks. Can throw in a water bladder and just use that for yourself and the dog. I feel a little silly wearing one for walks, but once I'm actually moving I forget about it because it's so comfy. Ther
