Lucie, I can assure you that no one cares
I will say this is a dumb dumb post but this carafe actually belongs to a somewhat fancy coffee maker. It’s a Moccamaster, which brews somewhat similar to pour over coffee compared to your average Mr. Coffee. But I’m still a hater. If you’re gonna drink iced coffee, get a cold brew maker.

Drip coffee maker suggestions
Breville Luxe. Solid build. Reliable. Makes great coffee and brewing parameters can be changed. My personal opinion: avoid Moccamaster coffee makers. They are expensive and have a lot of flimsy cheap plastic parts. Brew parameters are also fixed.

What makes the Technivorm Moccamaster so good ? Is it really that good ?
First off: I understand it is a good coffee maker. The question the OP is really asking though is is it good enough to justify the premium I think at this point it may be trading on its name a little. There are a fair number consistent temp, shower head / multi-hole style drip, reliable, SCA certifi

Is upgrading to a Moccamaster actually worth it if I’m fine with my cheap drip machine?
I think if I'm honest with myself, I can't find a huge difference between drip coffee makers. These forums are filled with people willing to spend way more than me, on coffee stuff. Yes pour over can be better if you do it right, just take lots of practice. Espresso is great if your willing to exper

Moccamaster frustrations.
A Moccamaster is a drip coffee maker and isn't going to match those two brew methods you mention.

Help! Weak tasting coffee
I am also confused as everything I’ve seen online praises moccamaster and I honestly love the simplicity and style of it but I just haven’t been able to get as strong tasting coffee out of it as my previous zwilling drip coffee maker. With the zwilling I would grind at a 36 and the coffee came out g

Good coffee maker for better coffee at home?
We tried the Moccamaster and the amount of coffee recommended was nuts. From there went to Ratio. Really nice coffee but the thing has been repaired twice and now it is not functioning again. The backup for the Ratio is a Fellows. If it were up to me, I would do either a pour over or French press an

KBT Moccamaster: Impressions After One Year
Just got a Moccamaster KBTS. Brews good but not superior coffee compared to other drip coffee makers in its price range. Other than the water heating and water reservoir assemblies, and the thermal carafe, the build quality is flimsy. Plastic basket and cover are feather light and chintzy. Plastic w

[MOD] The Daily Question Thread
I purchased a Ratio 4 on 2/11/26. On 3/7/26, I started an email loop with Ratio about my coffee not being hot enough. On 3/13/26, I emailed again, responding to my own email, asking if anyone was going to answer. A short time later, I got a response. The suggestion from them did not work. This morni

My coffee doesn’t taste good
I'm sort of confused by these posts. I'm planning on getting a Moccamaster but I read posts like these, with all the steps, and think, "man, a pour over is easier, cheaper and better." My current $50 showerhead coffee maker works good, soooo..... And I'm pretty particular about coffee. I roast my ow
