As someone else said , do one or the other. Although there are machines that do both they are really quite terrible and built poorly. Consistency is bad. Waste of money. To combine two suggestions: Technivorm Moccamaster and a Barratza grinder. Used both at least once a day for 5 years and they both still work great.

Bought a Technivorm MoccaMaster in 2005 and it looks new and makes good coffee. I broke a carafe a couple of years back. But getting a replacement was easy.
