What I'd like to happen - A new marketing department that understands how to sell based on the products strengths, and realises that they also have a line of other products that they need to get out to reviewers such as headphones and hrm bands. A new support system that isn't confusing and let's yo

My feelings with the Race 2 and Suunto in general (I own a Solar Vertical also) I sent back the Race 2 for pretty much the same reasons as you stated but I’ll also list a couple of issues I can’t stand anymore. Sleep tracking is garbage on the Race 2 the watch picked up multiple 7 hour sleeps and re

How long have you spent with the Garmin? The more used to Garmin you are, the more frustrating you'll find the Suunto software. Garmin may not look the prettiest but the functionality and completeness of the software is far ahead of Suunto. For running it might not matter as much since you're not lo

I really liked the Suunto Race 2 but the data discrepancies between the watch and the app were glaring and frustrating. Suunto seems to spend all their time making gorgeous watches with no time invested in the software or data integrity. They also never engage the community or seem to have any beta

Thanks for this! I have had the exact same experience, but instead of help, most on this forum will defend Suunto and tell you “this has never happened to me in ‘X’ years.” People in my running group have purchased Suunto watches because of my recommendations. I feel terrible when they complain to m

I had a vertical 1 solar to try for a bit but ended up selling it for no loss. Back then (about 1.5 years ago) the software was slow and quite annoying to use. Battery life was still abysmal compared to my enduro. I heard a lot of suunto models got a new firmware update about a month ago. Maybe it’s

It looks like a bugfixes only. Where are the newer features that came with the Fenix 8 update? Suunto is adding the new features to all watches, including older ones. 9 Peak Pro, Vertical, Race, Race S, Race 2, and Vertical 2.

Yes, the software is the thing that defines big company and better product and this is in every electronics. Everybody can put best hardware in the box but without the software it stays inadequate. So Amazfit is taking wrong way. Making a ton of new watches but forget about software. The main reason

I am happy to read this. I also bought the Suunto Vertical 2 after my Coros Vertix 2 broke. The software of Suunto was terrible, that means no button selection made sense. I returned the Vertical 2 to the shop just two days later. However, unfortunately, Coros support did not properly help me repair
