So, the OHR is definitely better across all Polar devices, at least prior to Race 2 and Vertical 2. Did a run with a series of strides yesterday: Race connected to H10 on one hand, V3 on the other using its OHR. V3 matched Race beat-for-beat, and that's pretty much has been my experience over the ye

What I'd like to happen - A new marketing department that understands how to sell based on the products strengths, and realises that they also have a line of other products that they need to get out to reviewers such as headphones and hrm bands. A new support system that isn't confusing and let's yo

I came from a Fenix 8 and switched to a Suunto Vertical 2, and I loved the aesthetics, the watch faces, the interface, but as others have mentioned, it didn't detect how many times I woke up during the night, I couldn't see my oxygen levels at night, and some other metrics were missing. Now that I

Looks like you have to purchase the watch to get the watch face: https://forum.suunto.com/topic/14599/each-suunto-vertical-2-limited-edition Not cool, in my opinion, but maybe they'll make it available to all sometime later.

I have exactly the same problem. I’m a nurse and usually work two night shifts per cycle. The watch detects it as a nap when I get home at 8:30 a.m. and sleep until around 3 p.m. It also detects as a nap the few moments when my shift is calm and I can take a short nap. I have the Suunto Vertical 2

It's simply what the market wants. People are accustomed to AMOLED displays - they're coming from Apple/Google watches and they appreciate the visual quality, even if it means sacrificing battery life during sports activities. Most users aren't familiar with MIP technology, and when they encounter s

You're crazy, doing a review after running 80 miles! 😱🤪 Anyway Suunto has a confusing line of watches with a lot of overlap: Run, Race S, Race 2 and Vertical 2. If they had made the Vertical 2 with an improved MIPS display instead, things would be so much simpler and you'd get a watch with 90 hours

My feelings with the Race 2 and Suunto in general (I own a Solar Vertical also) I sent back the Race 2 for pretty much the same reasons as you stated but I’ll also list a couple of issues I can’t stand anymore. Sleep tracking is garbage on the Race 2 the watch picked up multiple 7 hour sleeps and re

I have a Fenix 8 and a vertical 2 and here is what i think. Sleep tracking on the Suunto doesn't work for me. Sitting around and watch tv in the evening is considered sleeping with Suunto. Therefore a lot of metrics are not right since i sleep much longer on the watch than i really do. For hiking i

Truthfully I see the T-Rex Ultra 2 at least on par with the Vertical 2. It offers more features on the smartwatch side of things, certainly. I mean, sure, I get that you can get Amazfit's full feature set for much cheaper, too. But isn't that more of an argument against the Suunto model? For a highe
