You'll get maps with Race S. Payment, Spotify etc comes with forerunner. Personally I've moved back and forth between Suunto and Garmin, lately from Tactix 8 to Race. In my experience, Suunto Race is the second most accurate watch that I've ever had out of 9 watches - very good overall but perhaps not excellent.
