No. Most of those reviews were based on pre-release software. I know because I received one of those Race's for review pre-release. The worst of the lag was resolved in a zero-day patch. They're never really was a stutter issue, that was more frame rates from cameras making it look like it stuttered

You'll get maps with Race S. Payment, Spotify etc comes with forerunner. Personally I've moved back and forth between Suunto and Garmin, lately from Tactix 8 to Race. And with Suunto you get the basic stuff done extremely good and it is lot simpler. You set it up once and that's it, it'll work. Metr
