This is honestly the worse sub if you're trying to find a chair

I've been lurking for a while here and I can agree with the shills aspect. Sometimes I just wanna hear genuine opinions but gawd damn how one specific company is always the solution for everything and they're just refurbishers lol. Not to mention those obvious fake reviews posts talking about a godl

I bought a Steelcase Leap V2 in November 2024 when I started working from home, and after over a year of sitting in it I can positively say I hate it.

I do think chairs are like beds and sitting in them for a few minutes really doesn't give you an accurate picture of what each one will feel like after sitting in them for hours a day. Personally the only thing that worked for me is buying a chair and returning it if it starts to hurt. I went throug

Mecca for scoring inexpensive chairs

These are not inexpensive chairs relative to what you can buy elsewhere. Looking at their prices, I would not buy any of these. Keep in mind these chairs are used and do not come with a warranty. I just paid $750 for a fully refurbished steelcase leap v2 from crandall, which comes with a 12 year war

Embody vs Aeron vs Steelcase leap v2 or other alternative

Haworth Zody

You can get something like a tried and true Steelcase Leap V2, Amia, or a Herman Miller Mirra 2 in like-new condition, and with a long warranty for $275-$350 from a reputable reseller, so I would say no to $400. My experience with Haworth is with the Soji, which is a tier under that chair. I would p

I own the two popular chairs in this sub

How would you really know it's better than the Omni unless you've tried both? Unlike you, I have both chairs, and the Leap v2 sucks lol. I agree that Steelcase is a proven company with years of good customer support, and that the Omni is from a company with sketchy customer service. This is complete

What is a 'buy it for life' item that is offensively expensive, but the moment you use it, you realize your entire life before that point was a lie?

Funny, I shopped around for months to find a "great" high end office chair. I eventually bought a Steelcase leap v2 for like $1700 CAD, and while the material quality is way better, for comfort I would way rather have my old $300 piece of shit Staples chair back. The staples chair fell apart after l
