Office chairs lol. I ended up going with a remanufactured steelcase leap v2 from crandall office furniture, which I do consider to be an excellent final decision though!

Yes but you can spend half that on a refurb. Crandall Office Furniture. Steelcase or Herman Miller. Couldn’t be happier with my Leap v2.

Similar story here, but I bought a reconditioned Steelcase Leap V2 for less than $400 with free shipping. It was in like-new condition, and has done wonders for my back. They go for $1300 new, which was a non-starter for me.

I thought the same until I started getting shoulder pains, then got a steelcase leap chair. Shoulder pain gone and will never go back to cheap office chairs.

I strongly recommend checking out a local office furniture liquidator. They have heavily discounted designer chairs like Herman Miller, Steelcase, Knoll, etc. that you can try in-person and see which is most comfortable. Steelcase Leap v2 or a couple of other steelcases are great. Never even really needed to look at others and my back thanks me everyday for getting them (I have multiple now - you can find them pre owned for relatively cheap depending on where you are in the world)
