desk chair recs for petite women? (specifically for criss-cross sitters!)

I have a Steelcase karman (recommended on petite sub), and I really like it! (5’4”)… I def still sit cross-legged in it, but don’t feel like I “have” to as much. My hips have been overall much happier since I started using this chair.

WFH chair for the girls

Seconding Steelcase. Close in quality (both ergo and literal make/materials) to Herman Miller with a slightly less offensive price point. I sit cross-legged in mine regularly. If you buy directly from them, it ships fully assembled as well so no fucking around with putting a chair together. I have a

Office chair recs? 6'2", 220lbs, lower back is wrecked after WFH

I'm right at that same profile (6'1", 220lbs), and I've been having a good time with a Steelcase Karman. The only way I differ though is that my back never actually got to having pain like you are describing, so it might not work as better as something else. I will say that for the majority of time

How do people get upper back support with the Aeron?

your back/shoulder is much higher than the back of that aeron chair, its the short-coming of the aeron the alternative would be steelcase leap/amia or maybe even karman, or embody might be it

Elaborate on this 1.5 tilt lock request people seem to be having - looking at buying

I have the Omni, the Embody, a Steelcase Leap v2, and a Steelcase Karman. I can only use the omni for gaming while reclined with a controller or watching TV unfortunately. Tilt lock 1 is way too upright and the seat feels too short. I feel like I'm being pushed off the seat and get strained quickly

My back is killing me. Is it time to admit that "Racing Style" Gaming Chairs are actually garbage?

The cheap bucket chairs are usually really bad for long term ergonomics You could try to look for a used HM Aeron, had a friend do that and got one in very good condition for like $600 I personally have a Steelcase Karman I bought and can sit in it 12+ hours a day no problem, can't say if there is a

Which chair has the same kind of bouncy recline like the Herman Miller Aeron?

The Steelcase Karman looks pretty good - watched a video review earlier by Carland and seems very flexible and moves with your body
