Herman Miller Embody chair: negative Experience after 6 weeks of daily use (8-10h/day)
Unfortunately thats just how it goes for chairs.... everyone's body is different and its simply not possible to make an ergonomic chair that works for everyone. I have an Embody after trying the Steelcase Gesture and Haworth Fern, and I hated those other chairs. The Embody is the only chair thats ev

Best Office Chair Brand Right Now In 2026?
HM Embody or Steelcase Gesture. HM-E for WFH & SC-G for Office. As someone with back issues, I personally do enjoy the embody more, my only con is the arm rests could be a bit more adjustable like the Gesture. Otherwise the seat while it looks 'flat' the springs underneath have amazing support. IMO,

Herman miller vs Steelcase?
Best you can do is read reviews pick one and try it out and return if you don’t like it. For example. I’m 6’1” and 210lbs with a more athletic build. I tried all the steelcase ones at a dealer and my boss had a Herman miller aeron I tried. I HATED the aeron, gesture and amia. The leap on the other h

Looking for a chair that fits a women
I’m guessing you’re petite. I’m 5’1 and have a chair without a headrest (HM Sayl) and a Steelcase leap with an atlas headrest. I have the headrest on the lowest height and it’s good for me. Took a few tries to adjust though. The gesture with headrest is terrible for me. I have heard the freedom chai

Found a Titan just sitting on the street
Secret lab for guys over 6.8f is sadly the only solution. I tried steelcases gesture v2, Herman Miller aeron C. They are simply too small. Secretlab xl is the only chair I can sit comfortably in.

Herman Miller Embody chair: negative Experience after 6 weeks of daily use (8-10h/day)
Ive had the luxury to sit on most common recommended chairs from both Herman Miller and Steelcase from my current and previous job in an office work setting. The Embody did not particularly fit well with me as well but didnt cause discomfort. The worst chair I ever used was the Steelcase Gesture. Th

Comparing the most talked about chairs in each category
I'm 6'3'' 260 lbs for reference. I've owned the Steelcase Gesture V1 almost since it's launched. Also have owned a Secretlab Titan Evo for a while as well and have used both quite extensively at my home desk. I've recently purchased a Elabest x100 for my in-office chair and just the the Herman Mille

Help me choosing between these two please
The Kinnarps line are all highly regarded and have very few bad reviews. The Steelcase gesture has a very common review of it feeling like it slides you forward or pitches you forward despite it being steelcases best selling chair. Probably best selling due to mass office sales. Comfort is subjectiv

Which chairs have further forward tilt? or most upright posture?
I just got the Steelcase Gesture (replacing an Embody which I love, but had 2 break in the exact same place which makes me think design fault), and I hate it because its default is so upright. Might be great for you? :D
