Best mini voron for quality/precision?
The only official mini voron is the 0.2. (and technically the 0.1 I guess) idk much about "engineering materials", but no voron uses a chamber heater. It's not endorsed nor allowed to be discussed(see rule 7 for this sub). Precision/quality is all on you. Build it right and it'll be as precise as yo

Printer recommendations
I think buy Sovol if you want to tinker, but you're not ready to build a whole printer yourself. If you just want to print without issues (for the most part) buy another brand, like Bambu or something. I bought my SV08 to tinker with and learn how to modify, and it's given me reason to do so from da

The H2C Review: Better Than a Toolchanger?
Its perfect for me. Fast prototyping with breakaway supports and two materials, easy with Engineering Materials, Option to do a reasonable multicolorprint, decent size. If this thing works, I am maybe selling all of my printers to leave the emtional damage behind. Ender 3 v3 se. Money grave, only re

SV08 Nightmare - DO NOT BUY!!!
I don't think this is everyone's experience for sure but just today I had someone insisting the SV08 was a great beginner printer which I don't even think Sovol themselves would claim.

Issues printing PETG, going crazy.
The only time that I have had issues printing PETG on my CC1 was when it was not dried. Apart from that, I leave everything at default, don't even bother with the specific brand of PETG (I just use Generic profile) and it prints great. My problem printer is my SV08. That thing requires a lot of baby

Sovol has built machines for tinkerers. That’s not to say they should be daunting as the community usually mods and fixes things as they come up but they haven’t had a Bambu like set up experience. Look at the SV08 and its ecosystem for reference. The open source nature is nice though as you can bui

First 3d printer
I wouldn't recommend the SV08 as a first printer. It's fine but fussy and not a great one to learn on. If you're looking to learn the ropes and step up to something else I can recommend the flashforge 5m, you can even do some tinkering on it and load up a firmware mod called zmod or forgeX and unloc

Thanks a lot, Sovol!
you just solved a headache I've been having for a whole weekend. I have the SV08 MAX but the step file works just as well because they have the same setup. And to think this dumb little piece of ptfe tube was the source of all my problems

Help me identify these CNC parts
Oh I totally get it. Out of the box Voron prints amazingly as is. I want to get the CNC installed at one point regardless as I want those sweet sweet exotic plastics to be printable, like high quality ASA and fiber ones. SV08 was a pos from the box, I wouldn't buy one in a heart beat. Let me find th
