This isn’t supposed to move like this is it?
Yeah, it's time to replace them. But for real the time to replace them is the same moment you buy the SV08, because they install wrong idlers there. Just look at the comparison between my stock idlers and the correct 2GT profile ones that I installed.

Sovol SV08 Refurbished Horror Story: Sovol is Refusing to Replace It
You could've gotten a new SV08 from Aliexpress for $450 during their sales.. probably can still buy it for that after coupon codes..

Just saw this and wanted to share
Sovol used an open source design for its sv08 which means it requires a lot of tinkering and it’s loud and slow and ugly

Kitting out a Voron 2.4 conversion.... Cheaper to buy SV08 and gut it?
The electronics in the SV08 are NOT on the level of a Voron - it is a single board computer that is under powered with both processors on the same board. It might work for a while but… I may be a bit biased - I started with an SV08 when they first came out. The only parts from the factory that are s

Best mini voron for quality/precision?
The only official mini voron is the 0.2. (and technically the 0.1 I guess) idk much about "engineering materials", but no voron uses a chamber heater. It's not endorsed nor allowed to be discussed(see rule 7 for this sub). Precision/quality is all on you. Build it right and it'll be as precise as yo

Printer recommendations
I think buy Sovol if you want to tinker, but you're not ready to build a whole printer yourself. If you just want to print without issues (for the most part) buy another brand, like Bambu or something. I bought my SV08 to tinker with and learn how to modify, and it's given me reason to do so from da

The H2C Review: Better Than a Toolchanger?
Its perfect for me. Fast prototyping with breakaway supports and two materials, easy with Engineering Materials, Option to do a reasonable multicolorprint, decent size. If this thing works, I am maybe selling all of my printers to leave the emtional damage behind. Ender 3 v3 se. Money grave, only re

Introducing a new unofficial Voron 2.4 R2 branch
So why not switch for a modern toolhead? Dragon Burner / Dragon Cutter A4T / Kutter Xol-metrix V5 They're all better, lighter, mmu capable. For example, the complete V5 toolhead (originally designed for the Sovol 2.4, the SV08) is only 350g.

Centauri Carbon 2 *Official Release*
That’s what happened to me with the sovol sv08. It was riddled with issues and then they release a new version of it with all the issues fixed and the extras people did already installed. I’ll never buy a sovol because of that.

Am I supposed to have this many spare fasteners after finishing the MK4s build?
Yeah because an MK4S has like 50 different types of fasteners and they give you at least 1 spare of each of them. That said I built a Sovol Sv08 this past weekend and for that "build" (it's like 1/10 the time of an MK4S) they gave me exactly the amount of screws for every screw. I had zero left. Tha
