Best printer for cosplay?

For cosplay you'll probably need a bit more space. I might recommend a sovol sv08 or sv06 plus ace. I have an artillery sidewinder x4 plus s1 that is an absolute beast for only like $230 but it does require a bit of understanding of what's going on and probably isn't the best beginner printer

First timer: SV06+ vs SV07

If I needed a big, relatively inexpensive, large printer I'd get the SV06 Plus ACE. Sovol fixed the problems with the regular SV06 Plus, like the lack of dual Z motor controllers and bracing for the frame. These can be added to the SV06 Plus, but you'll have a bit of a learning curve to overcome. I

Are Sovol Printers Good?

It depends on your definition on "good printer". They are having good price to performance ratio, but you will need to do more little bit more maintenance on them than on Prusa or Bambulab printers. Also printing profiles for them will need some slight tuning from you to get perfect results. Yes, So

Hey newbie here, wanted to ask what you guys think of the thinking that getting a 3d printer for someone that has some ideas to make use of one but not much after.

so the M5C is no longer owned by anker as they sold their entire 3d printing line to eufy. also that printer is 5ish years old now if I remember correctly. I would be more worried about parts/support buying one personally. you don't need to be an engineer to enjoy 3d printing. there is such a range

First timer: SV06+ vs SV07

My opinion: do not get the sv07. I had the sv07 plus a year ago and it was genuinely so poorly designed I was shocked it was ever sold. The bed needs to be manually leveled with bed level screws which is whatever, but the screws aren’t long enough and will rock off the knobs during long prints. So y

Which 3d Printer should I get for helmets.

You'll want a 300mm cube if you can. Look at the sovol sv06 plus ace

Looking for a larger format 3d printer on a budget

They're discontinued but I'm a big fan of my artillery sidewinder x4 plus if you can find one. Elegoo Neptune 4 plus or sovol sv06 plus ace would be a good option as well for a big cheap printer.

Which one?

I'd go with a sovol sv06 plus ace if you want to make helmets. And still, check if your helmets would fit on it. The A1, although and amazing machine otherwise, won't fit helmets and printing two parts add quite a bit of pain to the process.
