Whatever you do, don't update the "SV06 Plus ACE" with the "SV06 ACE" firmware. It will ruin the build plate and the nozzle by dislocating the nozzle wiping area to the middle of the build plate instead of the corner. That will cause the nozzle to grind into the PEI coating and scrape it off. Sovol

I have no firmware issues, just that there seems to be a lack of interest from Sovol to develop the Ace plus any further. The wiki is incompleate, same as the github. My Sovol SV06 Plus Ace makes some really loud resonance noise depending on which step is being printed. Some prints do it some not. Did you have the same problem? So the new Y-stepper solved the issue?

If your goal is high temp materials like polycarbonate and your budget is 300 like the sv06 ace I'd get the standard SV06 plus (not the ace) and a $50 grow tent to put it in for an enclosure. It will print slower but you are going to be moving at those slower speeds with polycarbonate or carbon fibe
