FIN nozzle vs V6
Fuck Slice. At first, they looked like a good company. Then they turned into patent trolls who are slowing innovation of hotends (for example Slice vs Goliath hotend) and now the are trying to use another nozzle "standard". We are having shitload of nozzle designs, it is already very hard to get rig

Considering buying a Centauri Carbon
I am/was in a similar boat as you. I got the SV06 ACE and the SV06 Plus ACE and they were great printers for a couple of years. It was a little tricky to dial in things like flow rates though. This year they started having problems, especially with the Y-axis movement, and it happened right around C

Broke Heater While Replacing The Nozzle of SV06 Ace
Just 2 days ago I changed the nozzle in mine SV06 Ace looking at the official video, and the first thing I though watching the video was if I follow it I would break something. To be honest, I really think it isn't your fault, it is a VERY bad design and a very complex and risky way to change the no

Sovol SV06 Ace Plus firmware question
Whatever you do, don't update the "SV06 Plus ACE" with the "SV06 ACE" firmware. It will ruin the build plate and the nozzle by dislocating the nozzle wiping area to the middle of the build plate instead of the corner. That will cause the nozzle to grind into the PEI coating and scrape it off. Sovol

Sovol SV06 Ace Plus firmware question
I have no firmware issues, just that there seems to be a lack of interest from Sovol to develop the Ace plus any further. The wiki is incompleate, same as the github. Maybe you should try to flash the firmware manually via the USB cable method ? https://wiki.sovol3d.com/en/SV06-ACE-image-flashing-tu

My SV06 Ace Plus is now mostly silent :-)
My Sovol SV06 Plus Ace makes some really loud resonance noise depending on which step is being printed. Some prints do it some not. Did you have the same problem? So the new Y-stepper solved the issue?

First Printer start small but eventually want functional prints
If your goal is high temp materials like polycarbonate and your budget is 300 like the sv06 ace I'd get the standard SV06 plus (not the ace) and a $50 grow tent to put it in for an enclosure. It will print slower but you are going to be moving at those slower speeds with polycarbonate or carbon fibe
