FIN nozzle vs V6

Fuck Slice. At first, they looked like a good company. Then they turned into patent trolls who are slowing innovation of hotends (for example Slice vs Goliath hotend) and now the are trying to use another nozzle "standard". We are having shitload of nozzle designs, it is already very hard to get rig

I don't recommend getting the SV06+ (plus) 3D printer

SV06 Plus is 300x300. Sovol would suggest you buy the big version of the SV06 Ace anyway. It has some of the problems ironed out.

Have you bought a 3D printer for FPV?

I resisted for many years, I only got one this winter. I would definitely say it's worth it, I've had loads of fun making useful prints whenever I want to, or even designing my own. As for which printer to pick, I think it mostly just boils down to what you want from it. If you only want it as a too

Best printer for cosplay?

For cosplay you'll probably need a bit more space. I might recommend a sovol sv08 or sv06 plus ace. I have an artillery sidewinder x4 plus s1 that is an absolute beast for only like $230 but it does require a bit of understanding of what's going on and probably isn't the best beginner printer

Sv06 plus ace creations

You’ll notice that almost everything I printed here is with Sunlu PLA, which I honestly think is amazing. To give you an example: I printed a pink bird feeder in PLA and put it outside on my balcony in full sun all day in May (I live in the countryside in Italy, where it gets insanely hot — like 40°

Considering buying a Centauri Carbon

I am/was in a similar boat as you. I got the SV06 ACE and the SV06 Plus ACE and they were great printers for a couple of years. It was a little tricky to dial in things like flow rates though. This year they started having problems, especially with the Y-axis movement, and it happened right around C

Broke Heater While Replacing The Nozzle of SV06 Ace

Just 2 days ago I changed the nozzle in mine SV06 Ace looking at the official video, and the first thing I though watching the video was if I follow it I would break something. To be honest, I really think it isn't your fault, it is a VERY bad design and a very complex and risky way to change the no

Best 3d printer recommendations?

I do not recommend the kobra 3 max. I was just helping a peer this weekend and that machine is unreliable to say the least, it does not seem to handle TPU well. For $600, I do have the qidi plus 4, It has its quirks but from what I see, it’s definitely more reliable than the kobra 3. I’d just say, b

Help selecting a 3D printer (as a gift) - New Zealand based

I second the Kobra X. I've had mine for a month with over 300h printing hours and I love it, no issues so far. The flash forge options are good, mainly the AD5X, but they are a bit smaller than most others. Bambu is a great printer in all aspects but they have been moving more and more into a closed
