Sony WH-1000XM6 sounds great. But they look and feel kind of plastic and cheap, so I couldn’t convince myself to drop the big bucks on them. That’s just a personal issue. Nothing against the quality and tech of Sony.

Sony WH-1000XM6 are basically the best on the market, and Amazon has them on sale for $398 right now, which is a pretty good discount. I can't recommend them enough.

If you have fine motor skils, some tweezers, and good eyes or magnification, you can swap the batteries. I just did it and posted about it here. If need the conductive tape I would be glad to send you a piece (I have a big roll I'll never use). I've not found a good alternative. Possibly the Sony XM

Best in ear ANC. I guess Sony still has them beaten for ANC on the XM6.
