If you want an open back headphone HD660S2 is great for prog. If that’s too much of a stretch on your wallet then Drop HD6xx (mass market HD650) is a good option as well but both these need extra power to run. You can get a dongle dac/amp to power them. If you need a closed back Sony MDR M1 is excel

What are the best over-ear headphones you’ve used for everyday listening?
I have hd660s, hd620s and Sony mdr m1. I love my hd660s, but if can only keep one I'm picking the sony. Very comfortable, easy to drive and is good at everything except noise isolation, which isn't that bad especially with music on at decent volume m
