Which IEMs or Full-size headphones should i buy for Ibasso DX180?
For open-back headphones:- Sennheiser HD 505 sounds fantastic for the price, and is within your budget with it being on sale right now.- HIFIMAN Sundara is also a great headphone as long as you are not treble sensitive. For closed-back headphones:- FiiO FT1 is really, really great. Can't be beat at

Sennheiser HD 25 for both producing and DJing?
I remember when they first became popular. In those days there wasn’t really DJ headphones available. They were originally designed for the broadcast industry and for drummers. Kind found by accident by DJs. They were light weight to wear, tough and parts were easily replaceable. Good sound isolatio

Hello, I’m Sumedh K. AMA!
Thank you! I purchased Sony MDR M1 headphones sometime in October and I really love them. Something I can carry from the studio to travel and rely on the sound signature while producing on the go. Very comfortable as well!

Which more advanced Traktor functions do you use vs. not use?
I use in its very simplest format now and I am also from a generation of letting the music breathe and honestly have always been more excited about collecting or playing music than the technical process beat mixing etc. that’s never changed. I have been through all of the technology from vinyl to th

When you’ve mixed more beats than a blender and still hold on by a wire…
Pioneer headphones exteriors all fall apart including my recent X10’s like most DJ designed headphones. I have gone back to Sony professional which I used in the late 90s. New MDR-M1 especially designed for mixing so they have great sound and frequency separation. Probably the most light weight and

What are the best over-ear headphones you’ve used for everyday listening?
I have the Sony MDR M1, with better quality earpads and a Hart Audio 4.4mm cable. their full range sound quality is very good, not the "BEST" but I love them.

DT770’s have poor low end?
The Dt770s were the first “studio” headphone I bought and so I learned the basics with them, and at first they were fine until I really started learning how to mix and master. I quickly got rid of them cause of how weird they sounded and I got the Sony MDR-M1 and picked up the ATH-M50x as well which

New headphone recs
Probably HD25 which were originally broadcast headphones also used by drummers adopted by DJs when DJ headphones didn’t exist. I am guessing they are for DJ purposes. Honestly some of the best gear is outside the DJ market like the Technic 1200 which is actually a hifi turntable. I bought some expen
