Is this a good deal? Considering purchase

That’s a great deal for $200. This was Sonys middle tier bar when it was first released, A7000 was the high end and A3000 was the low end. It’s a stand alone sound bar with surprisingly good bass and adds immersive sound relatively easy. This out classes anything close to $200 new. The best part is ...

Best NON SAMSUNG soundbar

I love my Sony HT-A7000 but it cost a small fortune with sub and up firing rear speakers. The thing is that it just works. I don't have glitch issues, connection issues, compatibility issues, or anything else. I look at it as I paid for something that just works without that frustration of something...

Looking for the best sound bar for my Bravia 7 85”

I have the HT-A7000 with the optional surround speakers, it’s expensive but I find it’s really good. I’m no audiophile though. Be careful that the soundbar supports HDMI 2.1 if you have more than one input that needs 4K 120fps. The soundbar will bottleneck you if it only has HDMI 2.0.

Unsure about which soundbar to roll with !

I mean, one option costs $350 more before discount, surely that should be the answer? No point in all that power if the quality is subpar, power usually indicates loudness. I have the Sony HT-A7000, and that’s 500W, yet I’ve not gone past 40% volume. I just went from the Sony Z9F and that was 400w, ...

Which Bravia for my Living Room?

I would recommend finding a bargain on an older 85” X90L or Bravia 7. Just make the decision based on your needs: X90L or >> Bravia 7: Best Sony picture for a nice bright room, such as a living room. Excellent choice for budget conscious and value conscious purchases. It meets all the basic guidelin...

Best Soundbar Package with Rears and Subwoofer for Quality and Immersive Sound. (Sonos, KEF, Klipsch, Sony Quads, Samsung)

I would do the Klipsch as my first choice, or maybe the Sony HT-A7000 with RS5 rears. You can add a third party sub (or two) to this model (not the new ones).

Best NON SAMSUNG soundbar

I previously had the Sony HT-A7000, SW5, and RS5’s. Overall I gave the system a 7/10. The soundbar was very forward and dominated the sound. Rears (even at MAX volume) weren’t very present (Bladerunner 2049 is the exception). The system was very unbalanced. As of three weeks ago, I replaced the Sony...

Q990D , how good is it

You keep asking every reply about the bass. It's fine. It's a soundbar subwoofer. So that's what you get. Overall, the system is really good. The bass is...fine; good, even. Very room and placement dependent. Only way to know if you like it in your room is to try it. I messed around with the Q990, S...

Shield turns on 20-30 minutes after I turn it off

I also encounter this problem with an NVIDIA Shield Pro 2019. It started around mid-September. NVIDIA replaced my Shield with a brand new one, but the problem remains exactly the same. My Sony Theater 8 soundbar is directly connected to the Shield, because my TV does not support eARC. I also have a ...

Sony Bravia Home Theatre Quad: immediate impressions from a former HT person.

buying open box i got the quads + SW5 for ~$2,500 from crutchfield. You can get a brand new setup (with SW5) on Amazon for $2,400, as it's currently on sale (see here). You can also buy it brand new off GreenToe for roughly $2,200 (Here & Here) Crutchfield is great but they do overcharge on majority...
