Sony not creating an FX-3II is a big mistake. Nikons ZR will have the ZR pro version, will blow FX-30 away. LUMIX has some super video cams,then kineinfinity now, really interesting. Canon just came out with something… Sony is great, I’m a Sony shooter. Though for video maybe something else.

The price is laughable considering this is a glorified A7IV that's priced significantly more. Still no open gate, only 4K60 at S35 crop in 2025? Especially considering Lumix just dropped the S1ii e which is more comparable in price to an A7IV but gives you internal ProRes Raw, 32bit float audio, 6K

Zoom for BMPCC4K?
I'm actually using the OG BMPCC and Micro Cinema cameras (I have two of those), so my speedbooster wouldn't work on your camera. I also have a Sony FX30, which is Super 35/APS-C, and I actually use a Metabones speedbooster on that as well, mainly because I have full-frame lenses apart from the Sigma

But why would a Sony FX2 or FX30 would need like 61MP as the a7cr, when it‘s insisted purpose is video? 4k60fps should be the standard, maybe 120fps or even 8k for future use since it‘s still not THE standard in consumer market TV‘s, unlike 4K. Anything bigger just consumes too much power to scale/r
