New Tamron 70-180mm lens distortion HELP
Sony a7v sensor readout is about 62ms and my canon r7 is about 35ms. Rolling shutter shows up about 10%of my shots, so yeah it’s got to be from the read speed. Go mechanical or buy a faster readout camera. Sony a9iii for 0 second read out but anything around 10ms is probably good for this scenario.

If you optimize for speed, you also have to consider the lenses. They're not all equal. Only some lenses support 120fps. Only lenses with 4 focus motors can really make AF-C shine.
