I had m10r, and then upgraded to m11m. call me crazy, but I liked bw output and high iso from m10r much more. I had some short experience with sony a7cr, and files from m11m looked somewhat similar, the same harsh iso noise. Now I’m in the process of going back to m10r. I really liked better battery

I had the A7Cii and now have the A7CR. I moved over from Nikon Z6 for the autofocus and resolution. I tried the ZF first and didn’t like the ergonomics. The Sony is not as infallible on autofocus as the hype would have you believe but the compact size is great. I miss the Nikon’s feel in the hand an

Sure - buy a Sony A7C or A7CR. You'll pay out your nose for the camera and for lenses. FWIW I shoot everything from M43 (E-P7, OM-1.ii) to Medium Format (GFX100S) - in addition to FF and APS-C cameras. Larger sensors have an advantage - I'm not a fan of APS-C because it seems most manufactures inves

More like a Sony A7CR without video and af (using techart adapter), and IBIS. And 3 times the price.

Glad I saw this. Been shooting Sony forever. Ended with the A7cr and a bunch of lenses. For some reason I just didn’t click. The menu system just sucks. Even after having Sony for over a decade. It just does. It’s so complex and not that enjoyable. Decided to try out Q3 43. Been a month now. Let’s j

I am a big fan of the smart scopes. I’ve had a Vaonis Stellina for many years now. It’s fantastic, and takes far less time to set up and use than my 7” cassegrain/Sony A7CR rig. But it does have one very big downside: it takes CRAP planetary images. The telescope is the most expensive part of a sky

The GR cameras are the most fun to me. I can't have one that's just "the one." It serves a specific purpose. The image quality holds up to my other cameras and it fits in my pocket, so it just ends up going places other cameras don't. But it doesn't replace my others, really. I also have: Ricoh GR I

Thank you — we’re very excited! And thanks for all the extra feedback! I honestly considered something like a Sony A7CII/A7CR for the awesome autofocus + video capability. But I picked one up in store and was very “meh” about. I also really don’t like EVFs. Even considered a Q, but same issue. I thi

In almost an identical situation (iPhone, Z8) but I got a Sony A7CR instead. It just doesn’t do it for me. And you may have just convinced me to buy a Q3 43

I'd also like to add that I also once upgraded from an E-M5 II to an E-M5 III just to have phase-detection AF. Contrast detection is often unreliable, especially in low light. It's also often quite slow. Unfortunately, the E-M5 III disappointed me greatly, as it was just as often wrong (the miss rat
