There is no one best. If size matters most you already experienced the IIIx's size. Ricoh build quality isn't as good as Fuji. Both are higher priced for what they are. If you don't mind carrying at least a small bag then go Fuji, if you need pocket carry your only choice is GR. I've owned the IIIx
