I understand the appeal of the form factor, but these prices are just ridiculous now. You can get a full frame Sony A7C and a lens for the same price as this (Yes, I know the A7C is older, but still.)

I found the a7c i to have pretty bad ergonomics compared to any canon camera. The a7c ii is much better but also more expensive. For me, I knew what lenses i wanted and knew they were on the RF eco system, so I didn’t really care, and really that is the main point Sony has above canon. 1.) rolling s

I just want an R8 Mk II with IBIS. That's it. I don't care if they keep the same sensor, the same processor, the same everything else; the R8 does absolutely everything I want except IBIS, and the R6-II is too heavy and too large for travel which is 90% of my camera use. The R8 body is definitely a

Here you go again, someone is actively asking for MICRO FOUR THIRDS cameras and you go recommending Sony. Every single time. I see you doing it and I will call you out Every. Single. Time. We all see you actively pushing newcomers to this group away toward Sony and honestly it's so obvious at this p

X-T50. It's a good middle ground in the Fuji lineup The A7C is a weird camera. Not compact enough to offset the absolutely gargantuan Sony lenses, mechanically inferior to the (not much bigger at all) other A7 cameras, and generally more expensive from my experience shopping around. Look at Fuji gla

An a7 model or a7C model for me is still relatively big. Not a pocket camera. I travel a lot, all around the world, and when in new or risky situations I use a Fuji x100 - it slips in and out of a jacket pocket wonderfully. A fantastic high-quality discrete camera. When sticking with my a7Riii, I us

I was also, until I stood at the camera store and the sales rep laid all bodies on the counter: the A7iv, A7c, Zf and XH2s. The Sonys didn’t fit my hand too well and I didn’t like the button placement and used materials. The Zf was soooo pretty to look at and I was ready to draw my credit card. Unti

Leica a, à mon sens

As a Canon shooter (with an A7C - same sensor as the A7 III) in the collection that I use occasionally, I'd say the A7 III is probably going to be a better option. Better library of secondhand glass, in-body IS, better low light performance on the sensor etc. Third party options on the Canon RF full

Don’t get a Fujifilm if you have kids, coming from a dad that just switched from an X-t50 and x100vi to a Sony A7C II then to a Nikon ZF (Sony was technically perfect, but didn’t feel fun to shoot).
