Ricohโs GR IV launches in September for a much steeper price than its predecessor. What was a $900 camera in 2019 is now a $1,500 one in 2025.
I understand the appeal of the form factor, but these prices are just ridiculous now. You can get a full frame Sony A7C and a lens for the same price as this (Yes, I know the A7C is older, but still.)

What Would You Like To See If Viltrox Were To Actually Make A Camera?
A lumix S9-style full-frame rangefinder camera that actually has a mechanical shutter. Only closest competitor is the sony a7c but its too modern-looking and expensive.

Then, a Sony a7c with a 40mm f/2 lens would be a better option. Image quality would be much lower tho ๐

Leaving the Sony A7CII to go back to Fuji: X-E5 or X-T50?
I don't know man but for me X-T50 felt bigger than A7CII and X-E5 due to evf sticking out at the center. Ergonomics also felt pretty cramped. X-E5 is also not ergonomic, lack of grip and sharp edges are not my favourite. Also A7C II with small primes or adapted Voigtlander 35 f1.4 or something like
