A Sony A1ii isn’t really a “little camera.” There’s expensive rabbit hole to go down to get nice hummingbird pics.

A Sony A7IV User’s Review of the Nikon Z8
For sure. But that kind of gets at why I want to switch. On Sony, to get more than 10 fps, you need to get an A1 or an A9. An A9 III is over $5000 used, and with the A9 line, you only get 24MP. The A1 is $3700 used and the A1 II is well over $6000. You can get the Z8 for $2700 used, which is the cur

Thinking of switching to mirrorless… what made you stay with Nikon?
Had Nikon D7000, 7100, 7200, D500, D750. Got Sony A9ii for sports when mirrorless was not a thing with Nikon. Had worn out a shutter on the D500 but still have that and some of the older ones. Came back to Nikon with the Z8, when Nikon figured out mirrorless autofocus and gave it to us at a price mu

Leica Will Increase Camera and Lens Prices Again in the US This Week
Like Sony? An A1 II is $7K and lenses can't be called bargains. Be real.
