What kind of camera should i get?
I am a professional Nature photographer that does stock. I will be honest and raw with you. There is no market for Nature Stock. I shoot with top of the line professional equipment and dedicate countless days to shooting true wild animals in their natural environment. I am talking National Geographi

In your experience, what are the most reliable mirrorless cameras your photographers have used on set?
I've had the Sony A1 since 2021 and the A1 II since launch and zero issues so far shooting in basically every scenario. Pretty easy to work with after getting it all dialed in.

Anyone who says Fuji can’t be used for sports is crazy
i think the whole thing about fuji autofocus being bad is a meme. i have no doubt you’re getting good hit rates with indoor basketball, just as i’m getting good hit rates with birds in flight. i have a sony a1 ii and the difference with my x-t5 isn’t that noticeable for real world stuff. but i’m not

Is the Nikon z8 really that good?
they are different tools, the z8 can shoot much faster, has some specific wildlife modes in its af and the faster sensor allows for better video. so for wildlife the z8 is better since that is what its designed for, the telephoto lenses on z mount is also a bonus. on the other hand the a7rV has a hi

In your experience, what are the most reliable mirrorless cameras your photographers have used on set?
In my experience: Nikon Z8 & Z9 are super solid, followed by Canon R5 & R6. Phase One IQ4 is also super stable. Even the Leica SL2 & SL3 I think are quite stable. The Fujis and Sonys usually work well with updated firmwares, but from time to time they do "strange things" 😃 I'd say from Sony the most

Bird photography while hiking
The A1ii autofocus is better and the precapture is a better experience on Sony. File sizes are much bigger obviously 51mp vs 20 mp raw. Given choice of two setups which cost about the same, A1ii and 400-800 or the OM1mk2 and 150-400, I choose to carry the latter setup if I am walking any distance. I

Vivo just snuck out a phone with three 200MP sensors plus a Zeiss extender that hits 400mm and I'm lowkey scared this thing is about to embarrass every flagship camera out there.
op said FLAGSHIP CAMERA FFS, FLAGSHIP FUCKING CAMERAS, aka FULL FRAMES CAMERAS like the sony a1 ii and nikon z9, or even medium format cameras like the hasselblad x2d. and calling the a7c ii high end is just delusional. i get that u know absolutely nothing about cameras, but the a7c ii is literally

been out of the game for a bit, what are your setup recs?
I do (mostly) small concerts in dive bars. I recently shot a "casual" wedding of two musicians, both of whom I've often photographed their performances. When asked, I cautioned that if I take photos at the wedding, I would probably take them "punk rock" style. They both said "that's what we want" so

Hello, World: Artemis II crew looks back at Earth on their way to the Moon
Interesting, says an A1ii is on board the Integrity. Sony produces the vast majority of sensors used in Nikon cameras, fwiw. The A1ii uses a great sensor and definitely superior to even the Z9. The great thing about Sony is that, IMO, their lenses are even better than the S-line Nikon lenses, sharpe

XCD 90v F2.5?
Hasselblad excels at landscape and portraits. I have both Sony (A1ii and A1) and Hasselblad. I use the Sony for concerts, but added the Hasselblad last month for landscape and travel. I would keep the Sony for wildlife if you really do wildlife enough to justify the two systems. Otherwise, for your
