If fast action is a priority for you, the Sony a7 V or even an used Sony a9 would be a better option. If you don't need all the features of the a7 V, an used a9 would be the best value body. The a7 IV was designed to be an all-rounder while the a9 was designed specifically for sports/action/wildlife

Do you shoot in silent mode? My sensor is too slow for that.
You actually prevented me from upgrading to Sony, thanks! I got the R8 and never noticed rolling shutter issues even though I exclusively shot in electronic shutter mode. I liked the lens choice/price but the Sony bodies are really expensive and got low frame rates unless of course i pay 5x for A9ii
