Upgrade to Canon or Sony for full-frame mirrorless?

Looking for advice on if upgrading from a Canon R6 to an R5 strictly for the MP for cropping . Pictures posted to show what I want photo wise (and bonus ones showing off some recent photos). More explained in the body!
The r5 can help, but remember, the r5 is basically an r6 but with more megapixels.
