Godox says NO. Major Flaw in Godox X3 / X3 Pro: Mixed setups are broken and Godox refuses to fix it
I don't know the reason, but it's apparently to do with sony's communication protocol. The exposure with off-camera TTL changes with aperture, the wider the aperture the more underexposed it is. So you end up having to dial in flash compensation until the exposure looks right, and if you're going to

How to manage neon/ florescent/ fake-looking nature greens?
Lmao you sound like me. But honestly my research rabbit hole has proved to me this green issue is an issue across brands (with the exception of film sims/ luts that may tone it down). I have a Sony a7RIII now and it’s absolutely worse in the way it over saturates/ reads colors compared to what I’ve

Which body/lens for birding?
I have a Sony a7R3 as well as an OM-1. I used to have the Sony 200-600 but I'm 70+ and it is too heavy. The M.Zuiko 300/4 Pro with a 2x tc stays on my OM-1.

Camera gear you own or owned that was universally loved but you never warmed up to it.
And while I'm complaining, I have the A7R3 and the A7R5. I bought the A7R3 first and loved it. When it was time to get a second body for dual camera usage, it made sense to get the A7R5, it would be almost the same, right? Well, the menu is a lot different(better), the video record button is in a di

Olympus E-M1 III high ISO performance
Yes, it just tightens everything a little more in terms of image quality. I keep buying 16MP bodies, be it Olympus or Panasonic and I just end up selling it down the line. The tighter noise pattern, colour shifts, just a little more dynamic range surprisingly adds up. I quite like my OM-1. That said

I’m looking to improve the sharpness of my images. What focus areas are you using?
That makes sense. I am using a Sony A7R III with a Sony 70-200 & 1.4 TC. One mistake I noticed when I got home was that I was in APS-C mode, which brings down the resolution to 18 MP vs 42 MP when not in APS-C mode. That for sure affects the level of detail. Still, I thought the focus was soft. Here

First week with my new (to me) X100vi
Love these! Which Osan recipe is the fourth one?Currently looking for an x100vi. Where did you find a used one? I’m stubborn and don’t want to pay above MSRP, especially for used. I realize this isn’t an easy task with the way the market is. I have some alerts set for trackers for a new one on Best

Lumix real time luts vs nikon flexible picture control?
The S5ii or the Nikon Z5ii currently. I currently have a Sony A7RIII but I’m tired of Sony jpegs being awful and the ability to make more in camera adjustments is really important to me. My concern is that LUMIX leans blue in nature greens, which isn’t my preference, but from my understanding can ea

Q3 as ONLY camera? Sanity check...
I have only rented the Q3 so surely not a reliable impression. But even in this short time, the rendering of the Q3 has far more presence, than my Sony A7R3. Yes…, it has the look. BUT, I’m waiting for someone to speak to the problems with crop. Because crop mode, is obviously, well, a crop. It does
