I’m looking to improve the sharpness of my images. What focus areas are you using?

That makes sense. I am using a Sony A7R III with a Sony 70-200 & 1.4 TC. One mistake I noticed when I got home was that I was in APS-C mode, which brings down the resolution to 18 MP vs 42 MP when not in APS-C mode. That for sure affects the level of detail.
