Zve10 vs A7iii. A7iii has poor AF and colors lil zve10 had lot better AF and colors. Any firmware updates or anything that fixes it ?

Looks like you’re using the kit lens with the a7iii which will leave you pretty unsatisfied imo. Once I got my Sigma 85mm 1.4, I realized the body was never the issue, the glass is.

Any advice for how to take better indoor photos with no flash?

All you can do is open up your aperture as far as you can and use the slowest shutter speed you can. Other than that it is adding a lot more light or dealing with the noise. Indoor photography sucks unless it involves pretty powerful lighting. Cameras need a lot more light than human eyes and human

Talk me out of a potential mistake.........

Don't leave Nikon for Sony, I ended up right back where I was. I ran with a Nikon D5+Sony a7iii for a decade shooting for Los Angeles Based News stations, including the LA Times, and went back to all Nikon Bodies recently. Sony cons-Subpar colors, horrible menu systems, poor tech support, and the fa

Is this a good deal ?

Not really. Its an a7ii, lacks basically all the good features Sony is famous for. The a7iii should be in your price range but then you need a lens... maybe look for an a6400 or a6600.

What camera should I get next?

I'm with u/libra-love- - watching videos does not cover it. I've tried a few Sonys and personally hated their ergonomics. I found them uncomfortable to hold and no fun to control. Now, do lots of people disagree with me? Yes. Am I undoubtedly biased by the fact that I'm a Nikon shooter, and very use

Lens recommendations?

Tamron 35-150mm f2.0-2.8 by far and there isn't even a close second, in my mind. It's as versatile as an all-in-one can possibly be. Perfect for weddings and portraits. Strengths: Very sharp (on my A7RV), fast autofocus (until you're in very dark conditions), 35 to 150 is a crazy range, fast apertur

Advice on R50 Lens Upgrades?

Many hype and babyduck sony as a whole after their 5D mk iii moment they got with a7iii, but other companies are already on par or better, and praising companies instead of comparing exact products side by side is a social sickness. Idea that "camera = sony" or lets say "cpu = intel" after particula

What camera should I get? A7iii or Canon r6 mk2.

A7iii was just an option to get better lenses until I upgrade to the a7v. Sounds like if 3rd party lenses are no go for canon, I don’t feel like paying 40-60% more for RF lenses. And I know you can use the EF lenses but ewe lol
