A6700 overheats shooting 4k60 after 25 mins. Sony “IBIS” (if you can call it that) is useless for video, even with the electronic stabilization it’s still terrible.

If i was you. Will take a6400 and some good prime lens probably 23mm or 27mm. And get a good second hand gimbal ronin or else. If you can do good with that. Then you can upgrade to a7iv later.

A6700 is just a6400 with bigger battery and ibis which still useless without gimbal in my experience.

Folks didn't like the fx2 though for video. Both are rehousings, the fx2 is the a7iv, and the fx30 is the a6700. Just get those original variants instead, right?
