APS-C for macro?
I'll start this off by clarifying I only have experience with Sony & Olympus / OM systems. I've tried to use the Sony A6700 and the Sony 90mm for handheld insect macro photography and eventually gave up. The sensor readout time and buffer were too slow for my style of photography. I ended up going w

What gear do you use to make your YouTube videos?
Sony a6700 with a Viltrox 27mm f/1.2 lens, two led panels for lighting, a rode videomic go II mic on a boom arm. Cooking videos. A slider for smooth end product footage, but I regret having bought it, I almost never use it.

OM-3 or A6700 for travel?
I don't shoot video, so I can't practically answer that, but the a6700 is better from what I understand. I still have a small Fuji kit. The difference in low light between modern APS-C and modern M43 is minimal enough that it isn't a consideration for me. Olympus has a better lens selection. The len

Xbox Series X Purchase gets $100 gift card at Best Buy
Lol this.. but everything is going up way to much right now. My SD card for my a6700 was 150 when I bought it. I can't find one for cheaper than 220. And the one I did buy is going for 250... Glad I bought a few cards back then because holy f.

S9 vs X-S20 vs A6700 (₹1.6L budget) — cinematic video, open gate & 6K worth it?
For someone focusing on video, the S9 will be the way to go.But it has its downsides, because the ergonomics are trash, the overall handling and buttons feels cheap and there is no viewfinder. I currently have a a6700 and the S9 feels like a huge downgrade, especially if you also wanna shoot photos,

Looking at camera and gear options in the range of £2000-£2800
a6700 has a 1.5x crop sensor and turns 20mm to 30. Is it wide enough for your use? For wildlife, 300/450 is a bit short. I think the cheapest camera with PreCap probably is the OM-1.1 and you can pair it with 100-400 II (Mk II has Sync IS, IBIS + OIS, but not I. Sync IS allows you to shoot slower SS

Got the Zf a day late so sorry for the delay! I haven’t a chance to pixel peep with both cameras but I can give a quick comparison. The Zf is a much bigger camera. The continuous AF is noticeably slower than the A6700 but that camera is the fastest autofocusing I’ve ever used. The Nikon menus are a

A6700 overheats shooting 4k60 after 25 mins. Sony “IBIS” (if you can call it that) is useless for video, even with the electronic stabilization it’s still terrible.

If i was you. Will take a6400 and some good prime lens probably 23mm or 27mm. And get a good second hand gimbal ronin or else. If you can do good with that. Then you can upgrade to a7iv later.
A6700 is just a6400 with bigger battery and ibis which still useless without gimbal in my experience.

Need help with camera purchase: fx30 or fx2 with steep discounts.
Folks didn't like the fx2 though for video. Both are rehousings, the fx2 is the a7iv, and the fx30 is the a6700. Just get those original variants instead, right?
