anyone else think the fujifilm camera naming is a shitshow?
The Sony Aps-c naming convention is awful but it works like this: Entry level: a6000 (2014) replaced by a6100 (2019) Midrange: a6300 (2016) replaced by a6400 (2019) Enthusiast: a6500 (2016) replaced by a6600 (2019) One aps-c to rule them all: a6700 (2023) That’s how you get an a6400 that’s newer tha

Short trip to Panama 🇵🇦
In January I traveled with 2 friends for one week to Panama and two weeks to Costa Rica. It was so interesting to see this different culture (I am from Germany). All of these pictures were shot in Panama with Sony a6400 and Sony 18-135 and Sigma 100-400. Sadly I shot everything in jpeg so I have l

Choosing the Wrong Camera
This is something I should’ve done right from the start, but I didn’t.
So, here’s the thing: I love photography, but not to the point of carrying a big bag full of lenses and accessories everywhere I go. For years, I didn’t own any photography gear. Last year, I finally saved enough money to treat

Need a camera that can record for 2 hours straight in 4k without overheating
I’m an audio engineer and records audio of live classical music performances. Some clients however request for video. Been using my iPhone 13 for a while but I’ve reached its limits.
I need a camera that could record in 4k without overheating for at least 2 hours without overheating. I really like

Should I buy it?
That camera does not have In-Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) and that lens also lacks stabilization. The A6400 also lacks IBIS. Either camera will benefit from a Sony lens that has optical image stabilization, which Sony calls "OSS." Can't tell whether it's a good buy or not, because you haven't tol

Tamron 24mm f2.8 won't autofocus to distant objects. Can I adjust that?
Recently got this lens from MPB to use with my Sony a6400, and the autofocus is completely unable to focus on distant objects (not that distant really... Maybe 20-30 yards). I can easily manually focus to infinity, but I'd really like to be able to do so while autofocusing. I haven't been able to fi

Guys I have a question. I have Sony a6400 and Laowa 65mm 2x. I don’t understand why its not making whole photo sharp it’s always blurry at the background, only some small detail is sharp and all other part of the object is blurry, that’s frustration for me. How can I make whole object in focus?

DSLR camera looking super poor quality
I have a Sony Alpha 6400 with a cable straight into my pc, using their native software Imaging Edge Webcam. I also have a large elgato ringlight around it. By all means I should be getting professional grade quality image out of it. I’ve added it as a video capture device source, then I read on anot
