First day trying out my new Sony A6400. Critique away please 🙏🏻
My main issue is that I lost the sharpness on the dog, will have to figure out why!

Should I get the Sony a6600 or a6700 as my first camera?
If your focus is wildlife, the Sony 70-350mm f/4.5-6.3 is a better lens (sharper, better AF performance, good optical stabilisation). It's quite an expensive lens (by APS-C standards), but often goes on sale (on Amazon and elsewhere). Maybe get it with a used A6600, to keep within budget, though aut

Tamron 24mm f2.8 won't autofocus to distant objects. Can I adjust that?
Recently got this lens from MPB to use with my Sony a6400, and the autofocus is completely unable to focus on distant objects (not that distant really... Maybe 20-30 yards). I can easily manually focus to infinity, but I'd really like to be able to do so while autofocusing. I haven't been able to fi

Any camera recs for beginners?
Starting with question 2: Sigma's 18-50 f/2.8 is an amazing lens, I'd describe it as one of the best value options for any lens. I'd say that all of these are pretty easy to use, the a6400 maybe is a bit behind, it has a new autofocus generation that ended up being a revolution, but it's also a bit

The Right Lumix for an Indie Filmmaker?
The autofocus discourse with sony is toxic as hell, especially when you consider that they arent actually reviewing much, by and large, most of them are just reading the spec sheet and running through talking points that the camera manufacturer wants them to cover. Influencers more than reviewers. S

What camera/lens should I go with?
its a 7 year old camera https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sony-a6400-review/9 like all sony cameras it will have excellent autofocus for me... sony cameras have poor ergonomics and even worse menus. YMMV. Many folks love these cameras Backpacking trip.... u want one lens... and leave it on the camera

A6400 vs A6700 Wildlife?
The A6700 has much better autofocus for wildlife photography. It is much better at locking onto bird and animal eyes and tracking them. Your current setup should be capable of producing sharp images though. At 400mm, your lens should at least be on par or better than the 200-600 or 400-800. The A640

Still Waiting for GX9 Successor!
I love X100 series body but after bought X100VI it just doesn't click with me. So I sold it again within a week. Currently my rangefinder collection consist of Lumix GX9, Olympus PEN-F, Leica M10 and Leica CL. Also tried Sony A6400 and A7C but dislike them despite great AF-C.

Beginner! Any advice?
These are some of my favorite shots! Only the first three photos were taken on a sony a6400 (28-35mm) and the rest from my iphone 15 pro! I’m having trouble with editing, focus, and the exposure triangle in general since I just picked up a physical camera recently and been using my phone🤧 Any brutal
