I’m a birder and want to take clearer photos than this; any camera suggestions?
You might have to push your budget a little, a used Sony a6000 & 55-210 for around £350-400. This will give you much better quality images.

What cheap, compact camera should I get as a reporter?
At that price, you’re still better off using your phone or upgrading your phone, unless you wanted to go the used mirrorless route. The other option, if you wanted to spend just a little more, would be, to get a used compact mirrorless camera but skip the kit lens and find a cheap smaller (but bette

Paul and Morgan are selling their camera 👀👀👀 let’s speculate
Those sonys are good cameras. I’ve had the a6000 since 2018 or so, and it’s such a workhorse. That said, I prefer the 30mm sigma lens, but I’m more often doing landscape and travel photography, not vlogging.

Cheap but good telephoto lens for a6000
The biggest bugbear is the lack of stabilisation on the Sony a6000 and no OSS on the Tamron 70-300 lens. You’d end up lugging a tripod (I’d suggest a mini-tripod as an everyday carry), which defeats the purpose of a small and light setup. Note: the Sony a6000 is 344 grams and the Tamron 70-300 is 54

from Sony to Fuji
I just switched from sony a6000 (with sigma 18-50) to Fuji xt50 and I'm very happy. Currently I have the 27mm f2.8 r wr lens. I got a good deal on the new 16-50mm kit lens on eBay but I haven't tested it yet. So far I'm very happy. So far the 27mm lens is great. It's very descrete and can fit easily

My very first camera.
Not sure how other people feel, but if you're an absolute beginner who knows pretty much nothing about cameras, watch Jason Vong's videos. He's super beginner-facing, pretty much only talks about Sony's cameras, and has tons of coverage of the Menu 1.0 system/the a6000 series themselves. You essenti

What's the best lens for A6000?
There is no real "best lens" for any camera, it's so subjective for what lens works for each person and their style of photography or what they need. I've got a nice little collection of lenses but most of the time I've got the Sony E 18-135mm on my A6000 for the convenience of having a nice range w

need help buying my first camera
Get the Sony A6000 or canon 200d both are pretty good beginner options. I'll lean a bit towards the sony because of the eco system but you can't go wrong with either of this
