The problem IS the price. (rant)

Honestly the GR imo was never meant as an entry level camera. A used Sony a6000, Fuji X-T20 or even an R50 and anything along those lines are better to learn on, more intuitive, and versatile for someone trying to experiment and find their style.

Hilfe bei meiner ersten Kamerawahl

400€ reichen locker.

My very first camera.

Not sure how other people feel, but if you're an absolute beginner who knows pretty much nothing about cameras, watch Jason Vong's videos. He's super beginner-facing, pretty much only talks about Sony's cameras, and has tons of coverage of the Menu 1.0 system/the a6000 series themselves. You essenti

Buying the new GR IV

I love my GR IV, had a GR IIIx before, and a GR III before that. That being said, I don't think the GR cameras are great first cameras to buy. They fill a very specific niche and depending on what you like to photograph, they simply aren't the best tool. If your concern is not investing too much, I

need help buying my first camera

Get the Sony A6000 or canon 200d both are pretty good beginner options. I'll lean a bit towards the sony because of the eco system but you can't go wrong with either of this

Looking for my first lens ever!!

I have started with A6000 now too, my first ever mirrorless camera and the kit lens Sony E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS (SELP1650) was a great lens for learning to me! it has a slight zoom factor, which came in handy in lots of places as a beginner. I bought it for £70ish second hand. After that i got t

Thoughts on this Canon EOS Rebel T7 Costco is selling?

Personally i would not buy that specific rebel camera for birding, new or used. The 7d mark 2 would be my goto used budget body for wildlife in the Canon system, that paired with a decent telephoto lens, something beyond a kit lens. In the modern mirrorless id be looking at the Canon R line but its

Recherche appareil photo

What is a decent entry level camera for this hobby?

Either a used dslr or mirrorless apsc camera. I don’t know much about dslr cameras so I can’t answer any questions about those, but camera subs like to recommend those for newcomers, but I think they’re bias with nostalgia. I use Sony apsc like the a6000 series or Sony zve10. You can look for full f
