The Samsung Q990F is a true 7.1.4 soundstage, all additional channels that it advertises as part of its 11.1.4, are channels that are either being reused or upmixed. Remember though the most you'll get from streaming app's is 5.1.2 (as of right now), so the rest of the channels the soundbar is just

That TV is functionally ancient, being 10 years old at this point. That being said, the TV can still be easily connected to a modern soundbar via HDMI #4, which is the ARC port.
