Bambu Lab 3D printers: Never again - Jeff Geerling
I've been thrilled with my Snapmaker U1. It's just as good as my Bambu X1C from what I can tell.

Comprehensive Response to Bambu's AGPLv3 Violations from SFC
I bet the folks over at Prusa are absolutely swearing right now, because there is a deeply cynical layer to this whole situation. There isn't a single fiber in my body that believes Bambu Lab is in the right here, or that they aren't blatantly violating the license. But the fact that a $15k bounty h

Print in full color with only 4 colors
This is the same technique the Snapmaker mod uses. This takes it a step further, but it's the same concept Snapmaker didn't invent or develop the technique. Someone in the community developed the mod, originally for the Snapmaker U1. There's nothing really special about the Snapmaker U1 that allows

I want to know what made this guy smash it up like this?
Look at the size of that hammer. The U1 took the hits like a champ. This is a Snapmaker ad for me 🍿

CORE One L Price increase from April 7th
at the current price, it was already to expensive. here in the USA we are paying roughly $2,000 after shipping or from printed solid. for $2k i can get 2 snapmaker u1 or 2 p2s or a h2d. all of these options have better features and price then any prusa machine. please give us a reason to buy prusa.

H2C Is on the Way — Here’s How It All Started
Just saying, but Bambu was always very aggresive in pricing against competitors. The Snapkmaker U1 is huge (larger than the H2D in footprint, but just 270x270 build volume), but it's still just 1000 USD. Bambu can't price this too far away from the current H2D. The Snapmaker U1 is the reason for thi

H2C Is on the Way — Here’s How It All Started
It is just because of Snapmaker U1 nothing else. Otherwise they would have waited until they sell at least some H2S printers.

Full Spectrum is coming to Snapmaker Orca — and Radu (Ratdoux) is joining the team
Fantastic news! This helps reaffirm that we all made the right decision going with the Snapmaker and the U1.... And not some other companies that lock everything down (including others IP) Thanks to all who have worked on this project and thanks to Snapmaker for recognizing their work.

Best time to purchase H2C?
I would suggest you also consider a toolchanger. They are generally a lot faster at the cost of fewer concurrent colors. I have 4 H2C's and an H2D, and I do appreciate them. But, I get more fun prints out of my cheap Snapmaker u1, particularly in TPU. The limitation on the U1 is mostly the number of

Do you still consider prusa printers to be competitive in today's market
Everyone saying the sky is falling here is wrong. Prusa isn’t failing, and Bambu definitely isn’t. You have companies like Qidi shipping units that are literally broken, having customers as beta testers. Creality has an insane amount of printers that are all basically the same thing before support i
