Thinking about leaving Bambu Lab for Snapmaker U1
The only problems I had with p1s were AMS related and toolhead related. Not sad to not be using AMS all time now I have A U1. But auto loading is great, U1 can't do that. The tool head related issues I would say I have had about 4 times the amount of on U1, but it has 4 toolheads, so... For me at le

Snapmaker U1 Firmware Update: V1.4.0
Somehow Snapmaker actually improved their reputation with this Printer. I will stand by for now when saying the only Alternative to Bambu Labs Printers when it comes to the entire Package (Price, Performance, Reliability, Quality) are Snampaker U1Qidi Q2

I just got my U1 and here are my first impressions as a Bambu Lab user
I really appreciate your review. I run a 20 Printer farm all bambu lab machines. I run several e-commerce brands. You could think of me as a slumlord in that regard. I purchased three Snapmaker U1s on pre-order and received them last week. I must say I think bambu lab is in trouble. At least they wi

2026 is the year of the toolchanger. Will Bambu compete with this performance?
I own 4 BLs (P1S, A1 mini, A1, H2D) and a Snapmaker U1. Edit: and I've owned and built others since 2012 or so. The BL software is better but it's not substantially better (computer-side). The mobile app is a lot better, but the Snapmaker mobile app is fine. Just not as many features. BL is the winn

Given the success of the U1 Kickstarter, are we likely to see something from Bambu similar to the Vortek or toolchanger but cheaper than the H2C?
While not a direct answer to your question, consider that it’s quite likely that Bambu Lab has potentially sold several times that amount on H2C sales alone in its first two months, purely because of their established track record for designing their machines to function reliably and predictably. H2S is Coming!
I backed the U1 simply because snapmaker is a well established company. Did the same with the Sovol SV08 Max. I’m also really looking forward to fitting the Bondtech INDX on the SV08 Max. I can only imagine how many extrusion heads I’ll be able to fit in that thing. (Slaps roof)

Upgraded to P2S from Ender 3
Welcome to the club. I have to warn you, if you try to tell the Creality Cult how good these Bambu Printers are, they'll call you a bunch of names. Shill, brainwashed, tourist, etc. There are other printers out there that are nearly as good out there. Qidi and Prusa are really reliable and Snapmaker

With the recent announcement, any reason not to still buy a Core One right now?
Prusa had to do something to respond to snapmaker u1 and h2c. I think it will take a while to iron things out. Others are correct, no crazy deals from Prusa usually so if you need a printer, go for it …

Snapmaker U1 vs Sovol M1D
I own a U1, and I have pledged for the M1D, so let me start by saying they both seem like really good printers, spec-wise. phone app-based support Neither is going to excel here, but Snapmaker seems to be putting more investment into filling up their app store, and they have an app. Sovol doesn't, a

Thinking about buying after a bad experience with FF Creator 5
My first u1 was a Lemon. This was the reason "for the most part" comment. I did post about it here. It was replaced. Snapmaker shipped me a new one and sent a truck to fetch the old one. It threw errors out of the box. I didn't include that above since it was handled well and reasonably quickly. I h
