my first build my budget is 1000 in pound sterling (uk money) but i have no more budget for ram aany tips or changes will help

This will work, 7500f is still a very capable cpu at a very good price. Main conpromise here is smaller ssd. Not ideal by any means. The other option to stay on budget would be to take a 9060xt 8gb model and keep a 1tb ssd. If you are gaming on 1080p, you should be ok with that as well. I think ssd

i know absolutely nothing about pc gaming and would like help

That’s fucking delusional a 6TB SSD is crazy at that point just buy a 4TB NVME for 300-400$ instead of 3000$ for a 7TB SSD. Before this AI craze yeah it was actually worth it to buy SSD over HDDs because they were the same price for better performance but now just buy the bulk storage the OP knows n

Guidance on When to Buy a PC

I edit, design and game. I am guessing you don't need the fastest, bestest PC but rather something solid. I will suggest some changes to make better use of your budget. Use Staticice to compare prices of your chosen parts. CPU - The 9700X is a good CPU for gaming and productivity mix use. If you wan

What should I upgrade.

If by "a few years ago" you mean 2012.... You can reuse the case, storage and the Power supply. I would upgrade the following first. Then I would upgrade the HDD to a Nvme SSD as soon as you can afford it (A 1TB Silicon Power UD90 is $70). You might be able to do it now if you can go $20 above $600.

Help in deciding weather if its good for budget

Good lord do not buy a new RTX 3060 in 2026. Get an Arc B580 for $250, RTX 5060 for $300, or an RX 9060 XT 16GB for $400. Also, a 1TB SSD is barely more than the 500GB https://pcpartpicker.com/product/4kpzK8/silicon-power-ud90-1-tb-m2-2280-pcie-40-x4-nvme-solid-state-drive-sp01kgbp44ud9005 (assuming

Need a help with pc build(2000-2500euro)

For your budget, you can get a very good pc. My one question is how much does your work require CUDA? The 9070XT is a very good video card, and about $250 cheaper than the 5070ti. If Ray tracing and cuda aren't important to you, consider swapping out the video card below for something like this. We
